FastMac - Performance Upgrades

iBook G4 12-inch
Introduced in October 2003, the iBook G4 was the final piece in the transition from the G3 to the G4 processor. In addition, the iBook G4 included a slot-load Combo drive, better graphics, USB 2.0, AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth support, a faster bus and memory architecture. Subsequent models offered faster processors, larger hard drives, larger L2 caches, more on-board RAM and faster combo drives. Later, the optical drive for the high-end models was upgraded to the SuperDrive. By July 2005, Airport Extreme and Bluetooth came standard on all models.
