- PowerBook G4 Aluminum 12
- In January of 2003, a year dubbed "the year of the notebook," Steve Jobs unveiled the biggest and smallest powerbooks ever. The PowerBook G4 (17") and the PowerBook G4 (12") were the first PowerBooks to be housed in Aluminum enclosures.
- Both were based on a new motherboard design, which included Double Data Rate (DDR) RAM, internal Bluetooth, and support for Airport Extreme, Apple's implementation of the 54 Mbps 802.11g wireless standard.
